Kentaro Fujioka was born in Kuki city, Japan.  After acquiring a M.Eng in Industrial Design at Chiba University he moved to New York City to pursue a career in Fine Art. He won the travel grant at the Art Students League of New York and studied in Western Europe and North Africa in 2005. He lives and works in Long Island City, New York.
